Let's Kickstart This Bear!

Detective Honeybear gained enough attention and interest, that we have now activated a Kickstarter campaign!  This will be mainly for the publication of the next story:

Alex Zaben has really done a lot of the hard work in developing all the promotions for Honeybear, so please give him an online heart-felt "slap on the back".

Also, you can now download the complete original Honeybear comic for FREE as a PDF by clicking here:

While I'm throwing links at ya, don't forget to visit the Detective Honeybear Website, "Like" it on Facebook or follow on Twitter.

ComicCon 2012

For ComicCon 2012, Matt Wilson and I will be available for signings of Scrooge and Santa at the Arcana Comics booth (#2415) Thursday at 1:30-2:15 and Saturday at 4:30-5:15.

Also, Alex Zalben and I will have printed copies of Detective Honeybear.

Hope to see some of you there!

The Nephew-Crusher

My first attempt at the powerful Aunt Agatha, from the P.G. Wodehouse Jeeves stories.

In a future attempt I need to make her nose more "beak" like, a facial feature her nephew Wooster describes.

A Snugly Snoop

Today is the launching of a short web comic I drew with NY comedy writer Alex Zalben.

A new page will be posted every Monday and Thursday.  It will act as a kind of "countdown" to Comic Con where Alex and I will be handing out printed comics of Honeybear.  There will also be a downloadable PDF of the comic once all the pages have been posted.

Brain Explosion

Sorry for not posting anything for a while.  Been crazy busy working on a few projects, including my first  ebook!  It's all exciting stuff and I hope I can share it all here someday.  In the meantime, here's a quick doodle I did for a friend who just got accepted into a PhD program.

More to come soon.

Deadly Cute

No doubt some mixed feelings will result from this commission piece.

This is also a shirt design, which you can purchase from Armed Artists of America (via Facebook).

BTW - I will be attending WonderCon this weekend!

Thor Blows

This is from an inside joke with some friends.

It turned out looking like Thor in an Asterix comic.
